Hi everyone. I need help. I've Googled this and found a few websites and instructions, but they're not working.
I was sent a template designed for Word 2003. I need to use this template in Open Office, on Ubuntu Hardy. I've imported the template, (I think) but it's still not showing in my template list. And, when I open the template from the original file, I get a blank document that doesn't seem to understand the codes I'm supposed to use. I have Macros enabled. To import the template I used File -> Templates -> Organize. I selected where I want the template to be stored, in the left box, then in the right box, selected documents from the drop down, then File and found my file. Then selected Commands, and I have 2 options.. printer settings and Update.. I selected Update.. and then close.. and when I go back, it's gone. What am I doing wrong? I know this isn't an OO forum, and I'll go there next if no one here can help me.. but if anyone here knows, I would sure appreciate some help on this. I absolutely have to use this template. Thanks!
