At one point (known bug, but an older version) unetbootin wouldn't work with Mandriva isos. Have they fixed that?
There was a workaround on aspireoneuser.com forums, someone had been kind enough to create some files that replaced the default Mandriva boot files, and this enabled it to work with a Unetbootin install. Did you install Mandriva with Unetbootin without any special effort? (This whole line of questioning is sort of hijacking the thread, but I think enquiring minds want to know.) Aside from Mandriva (and a few others--Mepis and its offshoots, though again, there are workarounds)--I want to second Roy's endorsement of Unetbootin. It works beautifully with almost any distribution out there, without any effort. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Xander: I don't like vampires.
