Taufiq, First, when you ask a question like this, be sure you have included as much information as you can. For example, "it won't work on my netbook" is extremely vague. Instead, try giving an actual brand and model number for the netbook in question--there may be some quirk that is already known regarding your particular machine that may not affect others.
If you get any error messages, copy them in your post. That, too, may give valuable insight into your problem. If you had any non-standard setup details, of course you should include that information. For example, there are various command switches that can be added at startup for various purposes. Finally, "Ubuntu 10.4" is itself vague. Try giving the actual version you are using--is it perhaps the Netbook Remix? The regular Gnome, full version? Otherwise, it is like going to a doctor and saying "I am sick" but giving him no clues about your symptoms. That is not a method to get the best and most useful advice. Care to give any more details if you want a solution? Of course, using a search engine with your netbook brand and model number might be very helpful for you. Something like "MSI Wind Ubuntu problems" as one example, may yield some helpful information (substituting your brand and model, of course--I just used the first one that came to mind).
