Thank you for the time to do such an extensive explanation. That was a good education and very helpful. I'm pretty much of a newbie now even though I put quite a bit of time into trying to make the complete switch to Linux on my desktop about 6 years ago. There ended up being too many programs I needed that weren't really workable on Linux, like QuarkXPress, so I have been out of the Linux loop and need to get re-familiarized now.
