I found this interesting. I don't want to open a can of worms re:
other OSes. It is only about security and that it seems to be a losing
proposition in th elong run as virus writers can always keep ahead of
the protection and these spread fast because of all of weakest links
out there.

I am browsing without any protection and have done so for years.
