Sorry, folks.  The link to BasicLinux 3.5 in the text which follows was
incorrect.
It should be: http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/baslinux/ .

Thanks, and have fun bringing your 486's back to life!
Cheers,
-Martin.

Hello All:

I have been preoccupied with the thankless (haha) task of creating a new

freeware DOS distro for some time, and my project is nearing completion.

(You can visit http://www.freewebz.com/martinwarren/dosprograms.htm

<http://www.freewebz.com/martinwarren/dosprograms.htm> for a slice of

what to expect.) Anyway, included in my DOS distro will be 2 varieties

of Linux that run WITHIN DOS using LOADLIN.EXE . These will be

BasicLinux 3.5

/linux/distributions/baslinux/> and Pygmy Linux

Anyone with any ideas resulting from their experiences with these

distros are invited to discuss them!

Cheers,

-Martin.
