I run mine with Linux as the host and Win7 as the guest but it should 
work pretty much the same in Vbox.  Go to the Virtual Box Manager.  
Click on the guest OS (Debian) then click the button on the top tool 
bar called settings.  Next, select "shared folders."  Next select the
Icon that looks like a folder with a plus sign over it.  Follow
the prompts.
