hi group i have another question for all of you budding experts.
i have installed debian 6 on a thin client pc, this unit will be controlling some radio equipment on a remote location, so i have 2 questions to ask. question 1. i need to be able to boot the system straight in root user, at the moment i am prompted for a user name and password, however if i have a power failure i need the system to load up on its own, and run some programes automatically at boot up, can anyone tell me what i need to change to enable the system to boot without password prompt. question 2. the thin client will be in a remote location, i need to be able to access it remotely to manage system updates and so forth, what would be the best way to enable remote log in. thank you. alan ------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, please email [email protected] & you will be removed.Yahoo!
