You can have to locations open, or two widows displaying file manager. I 
usually have one window smaller and copy or move by dragging. You can also cut 
and paste into folder.

Why I cannot use the copy- and move-option in the context-menue (right-click) 
fully?

I do want to browse to a special folder or target: for example a removable 
device.

There are only two options: Home or Desktop.
