Hi. I've examined kernel patches freebios/src/kernel_patches and the
patched kernel 2.4.20 avaiable at cwlinux.com.
I've noticed that there is a way to configure linuxbios support and
linuxbios power management if I apply linux-2.4.19-sis.patch to a
vanilla 2.4.19.
On the other hand, cwlinux's kernel has some great patches (like
preemptive kernel) and a 2.4.20 version, but no "linuxbios support".
Which one should I use? perhaps it's only a matter to apply
linux-2.4.19-sis.patch to a 2.4.20 kernel (some work is needed) to have
the best kernel for linuxbios.
bye
thank you
