Hmmm. The name "OpenBoot" is taken, so even if you liked "open" in
a name we couldn't use that. Somehow, "FreeBoot" comes to mind,
so we could all be "freebooters" (non-native English speakers

But it turns out that "FreeBoot" is also taken, part of -- wouldn't
you know it -- the propritary wince support package from Via,
