This is really neat. Which kernel? I would like to have this.We can put it

We're still going to need to cover the case of 1 MB FLASH. The situation
is that I just got a ping on doing a laptop, and they want Linux in there.

TIARA won't do, we need the ability to do arbitrary Linux-type file
systems (e.g. XFS), so we have to solve the problem.

So the only option I can think of is to build a ramdisk in 24K or so, load
it up, and then use it for failsafe boot; or have the kernel do it by
building support into the kernel. I'll try the ramdisk approach for now,
Eric is pretty convincing :-)
