I must be doing something wrong.

I am using the latest source from cvs.=20
I have followed the SiS630 HOWTO. =20
I am using kernel 2.4.18 with linux-2.4.17-sis.patch applied.
I am using config-2.4.17-sis with NFS root support added for my kernel
configuration.
I used example.tftpboot.config as a starting point for my linuxbios
configuration but I changed the location of my kernel and I uncommented
option USE_DOC_MIL and commented out option STD_FLASH and etherboot
sis900.

When I boot this kernel from floppy I can login via the serial port
but I don't get any kernel messages on boot via the serial port.

When I build and flash I don't see any errors.
But when I turn off the system and restart I don't see any activity on
the serial port and it just sits.

What additional information can I give that can make this more clear?

Clark
