Sounds like a sane policy.  I have encountered enough people without
a clue, that as soon as people start clamming up or asking my to sign
NDA's I assume the worst.

But generally if a hunk of debugging code causes LinuxBIOS to expand,
disabling other debugging code should fix it.

One of the struggles with LinuxBIOS has been to build a fixed interface,
so that the problem it is trying to solve can be understood and solved
well.  From a design perspective if you overflow the 64k limit I suspect
that the line of functionality has been crossed.
