normally the cards come up with post code '--', and the first write sets a value. that's why I picked '00'. But '01' is fine too. The selection of post codes has had no rhyme or reason in the past, save for a few special cases (PCI post codes had reason, DoC shows you which segment you're loading) and the general overall goal of ascending order. ron
