On my Tyan 1832DL (440BX), flashrom will execute and enable the bios.
(I'm guessing right enable?)
On my other single cpu generic 440BX board, flashrom hangs "Calibrating
delay loop...". (Maybe I've just hit an anonmoly with this again while
loading l440gx mtd map module. I'll find out within a day or so as one
of these boxes will act up.)
