current way is: you have set_subsystem_id in pci_device ops. there is one default in pci_device.c that will use default vaule in Options.lb. the solution will be make Config.lb take different subssystem id for mcp55 with register info. and different device under mcp55 wil used those info to set in their own set_subsystem_id.
