The developer "uwe" checked in revision 2840 to the LinuxBIOS source repository and caused the following changes: Change Log: Make the reserved video memory on Geode GX1 based systems configurable. This makes sense on systems with small memories when the VGA feature is not used (CONFIG_VIDEO_MB = 0 in this case).
