Here's my guess: When you got the revision and made the tarball, your directory structure ended up wrong so the patch won't apply. When you check it out from svn you get a LinuxBIOSv2/* and you need a svn/* If that doesn't help, I don't have enough information to help you. Are you building for fam10 or the original Serengeti_cheetah? Which payload are you using? What patch is failing? What's the error message?
