thta's ok but remember you only have 256 bytes. We have to think about
every byte.

the other stuff: since you have DoC, and it is 8 MB, I'd rather use DoC
and save the NVRAM for "must boot" type info.

I note in passing that the L440GX+ mainboards standard BIOS store stuff to
flash on boot. I just found this out recently.
