I would be entirely happy to have no FB whatsoever, even if there is
video chip on the motherboard.

The ONLY time I need to see the video is for BIOS settings when first
configuring a system. I have no interest whatsoever in the BIOS if
Linuxbios can do everything I want. Consoles on the serial line is the
most "standard" way, but others like USB or ssh are all viable.
