Hi everyone,
Cachier 1000 is just another commercial product using LinuxBIOS. It's an
appliance based on LinuxBIOS, Linux kernel 2.2.18 and DoC Millennium chip
with root fs. As well as several IDE HDs for data storage.
Cachier is the first product to offer distributed caching of dynamically
generated web content. Implemented as a reverse-proxy it can be installed at
any point between user and the server or distributed over a content delivery
network (CDN). We got the system boot up in 6 seconds and serve up to 5,500
HTTP requests per second using a single PIII/800EB (I like Linux).
Cachier is in the final stage of beta testing scheduled for release on April
