Hi Gregg,
I just used the CRAMFS from the 2.4.2 kernel. The tool
is in linuxsrcdir/scripts/cramfs. See:
http://www.handhelds.org:8080/wiki/Creating%20a%20cramf
s%20image
I'm not sure about trying it with 2.2.x and Slackware,
though. I use RedHat 6.2.3 and 2.4.2 kernel.
The command for the loopback is:
dd if=/dev/zero of=~/tmp/test.img bs=1024k count=7
mke2fs ~/tmp/test.img
mount -o loop -t ext2 ~/tmp/test.img /mnt
I then tar the LEM into /mnt and follow their
directions
Hope this helps.
