Any progress on this?

FYI, there's a manual up for this board now.

   ftp://ftp.pcchips.com.tw/menu/812lmr/812s12.zip

It appears to be just an AT/ATX version of the 810.
Ribbon cables upon ribbon cables...

BTW, there appear to be at least two revisions of
the M810LMR out there; PCChips Taiwan has two
manuals up, for revison 1.6 and revison 3.0:

   ftp://ftp.pcchips.com.tw/menu/810lmr/810s30.zip
   ftp://ftp.pcchips.com.tw/menu/810lmr/810lmr16.zip

Which rev have you been working with? At a minimum,
I expect that it isn't the 3.0, since, from the
line drawings in the manual, the 3.0 appears to be
using a TSOP BIOS chip :-(

Other differences I note from a quick scan:

* The 3.0 has a header for a front panel audio connector,
  the 1.6 doesn't

* The 1.6 has headers for "Turbo" and "Suspend" LEDs,
  the 3.0 doesn't

* Many header connectors have moved (e.g. the floppy &
IDE headers are stacked in one column rather than
two as in the 1.6), changed shape (e.g. the IR header
went from 1x5 to 2x3 w/one pin removed as a key) and
gotten renumbered (e.g. the keyboard power on selector
went from JP2 on the 1.6 to JP1 in the 3.0)

>From the looks of it, the 3.0 seems very much like a
layout optimized for a specific OEM, while the 1.6 seems
like a more generic layout. I haven't dug enough to
tell if there's real functional differences.

Has anyone out there been seeing any rev 3.0 boards
showing up in distribution? If they move the entire
product to a TSOP BIOS chip, that could be a major
hassle for people wanting to use Linuxbios on that
board. Sadly, the manual for the M812LMR doesn't
reflect the shape or location of the BIOS chip,
and I can find no photograph of that board (or the
rev 3.0 810LMR, for that matter) online anywhere.

Also, that ftp site has been unreliable from here, if
a lot of people can't get at those files, I could probably
be convinced to put copies somewhere more reachable, at
least for a while.

That'd be nice, thanks.
