Okay.

Slightly off-track.

Our company is in the middle of adopting linuxbios as the main mechanism of
booting our range
of audio server appliances, however this adoption will not take place
overnight due to current resource
difficulties.

Linuxbios would eliminate this problems however until that time of adopting
in a production environment
can anyone, does anyone know of any tools to backup and restore the cmos
settings from a non-modified
bios. There are dros tools available however we are a Linux only environment
;-), and want to stay that way.

I know the /dev/nvram can do this for the pimary settings, however the
extended settings are not captured.

Any ideas, I know this is not linuxbios related but hey,if there is anyone
who knows bioses and linux, you guys
are the one.

Thanks for any info.
