Hello again from Gregg C Levine normally with Jedi Knight Computers
Everytime I instruct my Linux system to extract one of the CVS
snapshots, I follow this tar command string "-zxvf", and then going
into the resultant directory, and then running the configuration
mechanism. I get these errors, it reports a processor specific header
file missing from the directory bearing that architecture's name. The
same dratted thing happens each time I try it, in all of them. The one
dated 3/21 does not have a complete rendering of the other things that
the previous ones, from last year have so I am excluding it. usually
with one, it reports not being able to find nearly everything Intel.
Or in the case of one containing subdirectories inside that one,
named, it is for stuff that is specific to the P5 family. Any
suggestions on how to proceeded. I actually thought of combining the
contents of the CVS checkout, with one of the compressed tar files,
but decided to wait and see how everyone else's suggestions work out.
