Unfortunatelly it's not an option for now because we'd have to port all our 
kernel modules. Also there are perfomance problems with 2.4 that will 
eventually be fixed (I hope).

Can I just put a couple of lines into southbridge.c to hardcode IRQ for 
second NIC as it's done for the embedded?
