As someone that isn't going to be doing the work I can say "Sure, why
not?" ;-)

I'll forward this to the mailing list.  From the time I've been on, it
seems as though there is a 'popular' version of the kernel called
"Eigerstein".  I really don't have a lot of expertise in coding.  I can
do some, but I'm no natural.  I do have a burner, though I don't know
that my computer eprom is compatable.  I've checked the site and don't
know that I have a board compatable with the project. I'd be willing to
spring for one and do testing though.

I really appreciate your quick response.  Cisco probably isn't quaking
in their boots.  Yet...
