Hi everybody,
I don't know if anyone in the group needs a cheap server, but I stumbled
upon the following deal which I think is really really good. This
would be good if want more linux servers or for whatever reason.
The server is by Gateway.
The specs are as follows.
Pentium III 933MHz (Dual processor upgradeable)
ServerWorks ServerSet III LE chipset
128MB PC133 ECC SDRAM (expandable to 2GB)
(1) 9GB Ultra160 7200rpm SCSI hard drive
48x IDE CD-ROM
Seven PCI Slots: (2)64-bit and (5)32-bit
Integrated Dual Channel Ultra160 SCSI
Integrated 32-bit PCI graphics with 4MB SDRAM
Integrated Intel 10/100 Ethernet
Keyboard, mouse, 1.44MB floppy
Mid-Tower case with 300W and 9 drive bays
3 Year Warranty
The link to the site is:
http://www.gatewayatwork.com/prod/sb_gtwy6400_prodinfo.shtml
The regular price is $999, but right now they have an instant $400
off option, and also if you get
3 Year Parts & Labor + 1 year onsite instead of 3 years onsite, it is
another $99 off. So that's $500 before tax and shipping.
Question:
1 - is this ServerWorks III LE chipset supported in the current OpenBIOS
source tree?
2 - how I do check out this code?
3 - is the Universal Console Redirect (UCR) supported?
Thanks a lot,
Fulvio
