LinuxBIOS has not gotten to the point of making releases at this point,
so the tarball you are working with is quite old.
I can guess what is wrong with this. But the build process has
totally changed so please check out the latest code out of CVS, and start
there. Which motherboard are you trying to build linuxBIOS for?
Start with the build docs for the SIS630 the other supported boards
are similiar.
