Dear Sir or Madam,
The Digital Equipment Corporation disk drive from which the rack was
scavenged was, most likely, an RM03. It connected to a VAX (probably an
11/750 or 11/780) or PDP-11 (any of many models) via a MASSBUS adapter. The
circuit board set for the controller was probably bigger than your entire 16
node cluster in terms of PCB real estate.
