Hy folks, i have several mainboard based on 440BX chipset, some with socket for flash, so, how do flash-image for testing? The how-to for sis630 is quiet complete, but i have some problem with kernel source , in the sis630-how-to, is write to do parch kernel with one patch file, ok, but i dont see the similar for 440BX there is't? or not occurs to patch kernel to build romimage? let me try to write that i understand reading how-to 1:) get kernel source from kernel.org (linux-2.4.0-test12) 2) untar and install 3) make new config via normal make menuconfig , make bziIage make modules make modules_install 4:) get linuxbios tree from sourceforge via CVS 5:) launch config tool from dir /util/config 6) go to /temp/440BX and do make ok, after this? what i have to do for proceding?
