FYI;
  That link you send thru on the ide modules ... they state;

          Interface: 40 pin IDE (Master Only) 

  I've been buying these for more than 12months from the manufacturer,
and the Hitachi unit he's talking about can be made a slave -- the doofus
just needs to unlpug the cable he's got in the picture (the one with "Master"
written on it, on the other side of one of those plugs ;)

  dwmw - I had reliability issues with one type of those, but not the set
with the Hitachi controller .. they seem pretty schmick - FWIW.
