I have build LinuxBIOS loading an ELF etherboot image for sis900 ethernet, and am having some problems. Has anyone gotten this combination working? I saw a few old messages about this, but no actual answer...
I'm thinking the problem is that the pci device is just never enabled. If so that seems pretty easy to do, but I just figured someone might have already gone through this as the Sis630 (Matsonic MB) seems to be a pretty popular LinuxBIOS choice. Oh, also, seems the 'built in' etherboot driver needs some fixing up to compile - just changing a couple prink() to printk_err() and including printk.h in a few files. Seems like that one is working (well, at the ethernet level at least - it's RARPing to try to get IP... but I don't have a rarp server up right now, just bootp/dhcp...) -Jake
