Getting there. My plan is to do have a table that describes
what parameters go where. The nasty side is that some parameters
like cpu clock multiplier must be set in the southbridge before
rebooting. Storing them in the CMOS just doesn't work.

Actually it occurs to the that a cpu clock multiplier may be the only
parameter that cannot be storred in the CMOS.

My current game plan is to stabalize linuxBIOS until I have it
infrastructure complete on the supermicro p4dc6 board.

The big pieces that are coming are a flash utility that utilizes the
mtd drivers but has some basic sanity check, and in general enforces
whatever the appropriate flashing policy there is.

A table of enumerations and booleans and where they are stored in
flash memory.

A table of onboard devices, and onboard device parameters. With a
basic goal of being able to have a plug & play lm_sensors
configuration.

I'm targeting the 1st of Febuary to have all of this done, but we will
see.

Eric
