Hello linuxbios team, I have build linuxbios for ga-6bxc (after some patching), patched kernel (2.4.17) by hand and build the romimage. All seems to be fine. The kernel boots from hd. The MTD tools are installed too.
Now I have to burn the DiskOnChip flash. But I don't know how to do this. I found no doc for this board. - What about flash_on ? Isn't it only for SIS chipset, so I cannot use it ? - Can I use the burn_mtd tool ? It uses the flash_on tool for SIS ! - Is there a way to burn the flash, that I don't have to pull out the bios and insert the DoC while the PC is running ? Is there a hardware eprom burner for this (to what should it be compatible ?) ? - Please tell me step by step how to continue now with flashing part. Thx for quick answers. Stefan
