Howdy all,
Has anyone played with one of these devices? http://www.ioss.com.tw/eg/rd1/index.html Seems like a tool this list would find useful. A quick Google search seems to indicate they are readily available. I was pondering what cheap board with PLCC I could pick up so I could play with a Tyan 760MPX (or other 760MPX) board without risking the 760MPX when doing the dental floss trick. I'd still be curious what the cheapest board is that has a socketed PLCC, but the RD1-PL seems like a better approach given the $20-$40 price tag. Any reviews/comments? I'm guessing the RD1-PL is what I'd want for a Tiger MPX. jack [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cs.tamu.edu/people/jkp2866/ p.s. it claims to be stackable so if you wanted to switch between multiple BIOS's during testing (e.g. burn a few at one boot and then test each one) it should be possible.
