Alrighty, the "operating theatre" is up;
  http://www.humanheuristic.com/linuxbios/ga-5ax/scene/

I'll put some more piccy's there on the state of play after I found the
only CD-ROM drive in the house is the one in my new - carefully assembled
machine (hence IDE cable from open board to sealed system ;-)

Got linux and X booted last night ... does LinuxBIOS support AGP video?
Turns out that my PCI Canopus Pure 3D-II was on the fritz, so I had to use
my i740 AGP card ..

I have lspci output here;
    http://www.humanheuristic.com/linuxbios/ga-5ax/lspci/

(note that the xxx does not correspond to the vvv because I only added
an ethernet controller and updated the vvv version this morning - I'll update
the other tonight).

  Might not get much time on this this-evening ... but hopefully this weekend
I can pull apart LinuxBIOS and see how you gus get access to the SPD ..
cause I'm still struggling to see how the buses line up (even with LMSensors
code for my own chipset - I'm still fuzzy).
