Hi

I saw this project for some time ago and got very interested so I ordered a
matsonic 7308E motherboard. Although when it arrived I noticed that they had
sent me one of the newer boards, a MS-7308ET. Will it work with LinuxBIOS ?

As far as I can see they only (physical) differences is that there is one
more PCI slot, and one less RS232 serial port onboard + more memory slots.

Anyway, I have followed the instructions in the HOWTO/SiS630 file and
compiled
LinuxBios, but after I run the "flash_on" command and I try to reflash the
bios
with the "/util/sis/flash_rom" utility it gives me the error:

"2f is 0xfd"
"EEPROM not found"

I'm I doing something wrong here?
I want to put the LinuxBIOS in one of those "IOSS D1-2M Bios Saver", just in
case
something should go wrong I can always boot up using the orginal bios.

I have also one other question, can I use a Riva TNT-1 video card with
XFree-4.x.x
and drivers from NVIDIA under LinuxBIOS?

If not, what PCI card will work and that has TV-output support and
performance
to play DVD movies?

I was thinking about doing some sort of fast booting (embedded) DVD/MP3
playing
computer thats able to play DVD movies on the TV.

Thanks,
Mikael
