Dear Ron,
     I will try to add another GDT in chipset_init.inc to switch to 16-bit
protected mode, then switch to real mode.

Yes but you CAN NOT add it into the one in ipl.S, there is no room. We
will have to set up another GDT that can be used later. That's the
problem.
