The following are some more details about SiS 550 demo board:
1. The board has a 20cm X 20cm form factor with SiS 550 SoC.
The board uses a 12V DC power supply which is boundled in the
package.
2. The common devices on the board are two PCI Slots, one IDE
socket, one SDRAM DIMM socket, two 32 DIP socket. And of cource,
PS/2 keyboard/mouse, USB, Audio and VGA connector.
3. The SiS 550 also integrated with SmartCard Reader and Memory
Stick
interface. Connector for these devices are also mounted
on the board.
4. There is also a SiS 900 ethernet chip mounted. There are also
various TV-Out, LCD convert, Digital Video chip mounted on the
board, but I believe you need some special software form out VGA
department to use them.
The whole SiS 500 demo package is priced at U.S.$ 500, including
shipping/handling fee. We will put one 8MB DoC Millennium w/
LinuxBIOS and our demo embedded linux applications
pre-programmed.
