Hi Ron, >> So my question: >> Can I change these kind of parameters (multiplier, FSB, cpu voltage, >> ...) with linuxbios ? How ?
RGM> you can. On how to do it, you need details of the clock chip that I'm not RGM> sure I have. Look for the clock chip part (usualy ICS xxyy) and see if you RGM> can find the spec on the web. RGM> ron I think I found the chip spec for M810LMR. But I don't know what to do with it. You can set the FSB (and some other) with this spec I think. Another one asked about 133MHz FSB for K7SEM (Thread: "K7SEM questions"), because he have an Athlon XP. Perhaps this information does help. I got the chip name from CPUFSB (on Windows) for my board. http://www.icst.com/pdf/9248-136.pdf Is it right, that every board (ICS chip) have to be supported for this multiplier, FSB, ... thing ? So another hard thing for linuxbios is born ??? :-) I think I have to take the hardware way of underclocking my m810lmr board :-( Stefan
