Ok,

I figured out that I was missing flash_on in my path so now I
am getting:

Cannot find driver for DiskOnChip 2000 at 0xFFFC8000

That tells me I am missing a module?
Looks like I need CONFIG_MTD_DOC2000=m in my kernel config?
