You should never use Linuxconf to configure the antispam settings in a
Sendmail > 8.9.0. Instead, try to read http://www.sendmail.org (or buy a
Sendmail 3rd Edition (published yet?) from O'reilly) for set its own
antispam rules in /etc/access (a default name. I don't know if tricky
redhat will modify it.)
It's somewhat like this:
ljm.wownet.net RELAY
acenet.com.sg 550 We don't accept spammer mail
(which shows ljm.wownet.net is allow to relay, and acenet.com.sg is
whatever denied.)
And after all, never forget to do a `makemap {hash, btree, dbm} access <
access' (There are 3 method to build a database, use `grep Kaccess
sendmail.cf' to know which method does it use in your system. Since I
configured everything by hand, I don't know what does other distributions
do.) to rebuilt a database for sendmail to read.
BTW, there is no need for a `killall -HUP sendmail' after database is
modified.
