Some more thoughts:

- The Log selector should show the highest error code so that I can
see in which log file an error was logged when linuxconf tells me that
there were errors.

- The yellow text is very hard to read in a color XTerm. Please don't
use two bright colors for back/foreground.

- I have this error:

x x Starting system loggers
x x Executing: /usr/sbin/syslogd
x x * return 2

why ? Where is syslogd started and why isn't it started via
/sbin/init.d/syslog ?

- It should be possible to run a custom script after something has been
entered in a field (eg. to create the computer name, etc. after the
IP address has been specified).
