Linuxconf ver 1.13r1 on Slackware 3.5 (with Verions 1.10r34 through 1.12r7 I had the same problems) I am having four problems, mostly with DNS config Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated : 1. I use linuxconf to administer several DNS servers with about 200 domains, it works very well except that there are a few domains that I cannot load in the 'edit hosts by domain' section. It appears that domains that have more than 15-20 hosts listed in them will not load, it just throws me back to the filter prefix screen. Is there a limit to what linuxconf can currently handle as far as number of hosts listed in a single file? 2. Is linuxconf going to support the bind 8 named.conf format ? I have created a temp fix with the namedboot-conf.pl file to take named.boot and 'filter' it to named.conf and then reload the DNS and copy it to the other name servers in my network and reload them -- but its very messy.. Just wondering. 3. The IP allocation space seems to have difficulty remembering some of my CLASS C's -- especially just after an upgrade from a different version, the first one listed is always remembered, but the second, third and fourth seem to be 'forgotten' and are sometimes difficult to get back in (I have to try it several times before they stick) 4. I am interested in taking a look at the mrtg module, I have it in place and it loads but I cannot access the help and have no idea how to point it where my current mrtg.cfg lives. It is looking for the help.eng/mrtg/mrtg.html file which doesn't exist on my system. Is there somwhere I can get the engilsh help files to slap in there ? System Info : I just updated to 1.13r1 and compliled/installed on Slackware 3.5 1.10r34 and 1.12r7 also had the same problems as listed above Linuxconf is a great program and its been VERY usefull thus far!
