It is done by ncurses. All this information (dmesg) is available in the
boot logs (not linuxconf logs) classified by date.

Use the mono mode. You can even lock this feature in the "features" menu
and linuxconf will always use black and white. There are not changeable
setting for colors other than that. to fix that, one must edit the source
in dialog/diaetc.cc if I recall.
