I did a similar upgrade from 5.1 to 5.2 without problems. I did however 'rpm -e linuxconf' before the upgrade and then did the upgrade to 13r4 after the OS upgrade. Perhaps the upgrade didn't do libgd because of existing dependencies? My problem is with two 5.0 boxes that refuse to load the network if Linuxconf is installed. I've heard of a few other people with the same problem, anyone found a reason? d.
