Seems that when I set up dhcp on my server/box, it does not broadcast all information to my clients - this is on Mac clients, BTW. Notably: * The Name Server information does not get filled in. * The domain name information does not get filled in. All other fields get properly received and plugged in. Also, I get plenty of error of missing semi-colons upon startup, which prevents dhcpd from starting up. When I manually prune the dhcpd.conf file to bare essentials, all seems fine.
