You are probably missing the gd and gd-devel package. Pick them from
ftp.solucorp.qc.ca/pub/linuxconf/gd

Note that you can without problem install linuxconf compiled for
redhat-5.1 on any redhat-5.x. Well, you must install ncurses-4 though.

I will resume producing RPMs for redhat 5.0 shortly. I am currently
reworking my network to support as much linuxconf distribution as
possible. I intend to get back to producing linuxconf for libc5 system as
well as bin-elf.tar.gz package for non RPMs distribution.
